Recon PDA

The Recon family is IP 67 rated (which means you can submerse in water for up to 30 minutes) this makes for the ideal waterproof/weatherproof PDA. Also the Recon is very rugged (see movies below) with a battery life in excess of 24 hours in normal use. Ideal for those:
  • With A PC already below deck and wanting just some tactical numbers on deck
  • For smaller yachts where a dedicated nav person is not possible
  • On a tighter budget
  • For any industry needing an ultra rugged PDA with lots of options
The Recon is available as 3 main models with either PocketPC OS or Windows CE .net OS

The Recon also has 2 Compact flash slots allowing either Bluetooth or Wifi or both as a connection to the Computer below deck. These slots also allow you to add your own upgrades or one of the options from the list below.

The entry Recon has a 200Mhz Intel xscale CPU with 64Mb of RAM whilst the top end model has 400Mhz with 256Mb of RAM.

Both Expedition and Seatrack support PDA output
