MarineVision Kits offer similar functionality
but with three main differences. Wireless connectivity, Peripheral connections and power
connections.
MarineVision products are now
available with either Wifi Connection to the onboard instruments
or Bluetooth. RaceVision2 is available as Bluetooth only.
The customised connector in
RaceVision2, amongst
other enhancements allows B&G
to offer the IP67 rating and is how external connections are made.
An on deck cable assembly is available to give charging
capability.
In MarineVision
based kits we have chosen to keep standard connections available
and achieve IP67 by using custom seals. These
cover the USB port, Power Port and Rear docking station
connector. It is intended that the MarineVision product runs on
batteries and
uses the Hot swap capability whilst on deck.
This change means we
can take near standard product, rather than completely re engineer and
means we can offer a price which is 40% less than RaceVision2
rrp.
