In addition to one-to-one communication between the Toughbook CF-08 and a computer running xp pro, the screen can also be used as part of a multi-client system in which several devices are connected directly to a server. This enables crew in distant parts of the same yacht, or at opposite ends of large vessel to work together flexibly and easily across a WLAN, with all sever information shown in real-time on the display. The 10.4" XGA touch-screen display produces remarkably sharp images. It’s also moisture and dust-resistant and built to withstand falls from heights of up to 120cm.

Weighing in at just 1.09 kg with a 10-hour rechargeable battery, the CF-08 is the perfect mobile companion. What's more, a carrying handle ensures it stays firmly in your hand, while there's an optional cradle for connecting the CF-08 when you are back at your chart table.
