Both the iX104 & Extreme are available with IP67 rating, meaning they will withstand 30cm of submersion for 30 minutes and still work. The iX104R/RD/RV is specked to IP54, whilst the Hammerhead is specked at IP65, This allows for lower costs alternatives where Splash/Rain Proof is the only requirement. They are all shock resistant so can be dropped around the cockpit with minimal chance of damage. These machines are really tough.

As long as the software runs on Windows XP it will work with our solutions)

Deckman for Windows (Software for the serious sailing racer.)

Produced originally by Sailmath and now owned by Simrad (B&G). This software can be combined with our Tablet PC platforms and BlueTooth/RS232 modules to make a good solution for the serious Navigator and Tactician. The only slight negative is B&G decision to make it only available with Security Dongles. Valid alternatives are seatrack and Expedition.

We configure the adapter for Ad-Hoc mode with 128bit encryption as standard. This allows us to secure the connection between the Tablet PC and Instrument data.

The adapter is mounted on the internal bulkhead with aerial options available for mounting internally or externally.
