Both the
iX104 & Extreme are available with IP67 rating, meaning
they will withstand 30cm of submersion for 30 minutes
and still work. The iX104R/RD/RV is specked to IP54, whilst the
Hammerhead is specked at
IP65, This allows for lower costs alternatives where
Splash/Rain Proof is the only requirement. They are all
shock resistant so can be dropped around the cockpit
with minimal chance of damage. These machines are really
tough.

Even though our
ruggerdised tablet pc's are intended for the Marine environment,
we wanted to be sure the specifications were suitable for off
board use in the home
or at work. If you take a look at the
difference between our hardware platforms and the B&G's
RaceVision2, you will find additional connectivity as standard
to achieve this. So no more worrying about dropping the PC or
hiding it away if the rain starts, just go anywhere anytime
computing at industry leading price points.
MarineVision offers
many types of Satellite Sailing/Navigation software, each preloaded on the MarineVision
kits, so ready to use instantly. (If you already have your own navigation package
or want to use navigation software not listed below then please
contact us for a hardware only quote. As long as the software runs
on Windows XP it will work with our solutions)
